Chaque fois un peu plus Brésilien

Un an après mon entrée sur le territoire Brésilien (avec mon visa de travail) me voilà enfin en possession de mon document d’identité Brésilien : le Registre National d’Étranger (RNE) qui est plus ou moins équivalent à notre carte nationale d’identité. Ce document est réservé aux étrangers résidents temporairement ou définitivement au Brésil.

A year after entering Brazil with my temporary work visa, I finally received my official Brazilian ID. The National Foreigners’ Registry  (Registro Nacional de Estrangeiro) is a personal identification for foreign individuals living temporary or permanently in Brazil.

Une nouvelle étape

A ma famille et mes amis,

Je viens vous annoncer une nouvelle que j’attendais avec une certaine impatience: J’ai enfin récupéré mon passeport avec mon précieux visa de travail de 2 ans pour le Brésil.

Comme je l’annonçais ici, dans un précédent “billet”, ce visa est une étape importante pour mon évolution professionnelle et personnelle, je pars avec beaucoup de projets et d’espoirs.

Ce jeudi 10 Juillet je prendrais donc un vol sans billet retour ou du moins pas avant un bon moment. Je commence officiellement avec SAP Brasil le lundi 14 Juillet, un jour définitivement symbolique !

 

Slingshot 100 AW & 200: Side by Side Comparison

Whoever starts looking at the excellent Lowepro Slingshot bags would sooner or later end-up with a tough decision: choosing in between one of the three existing models of the Slingshot: 100, 200 or 300. Well, actually most of you would not really consider the 300 model since it’s quite big. Also the dilemma quickly becomes something like: Would I have enough space to fit my camera + lenses and even the flash in the Slingshot 100? Or shall I go straight for the Slingshot 200… but then.. wouldn’t it be too big in my back? Well if you read this you probably get the point since you are exactly facing this kind of dilemma.

When I was myself considering buying this bag I found many excellent reviews with lots of pictures, even videos, of either the Slingshot 100 OR the Slingshot 200 but what I was looking for was a direct comparison of the two models. I was not able to find any review showing me the exact differences in between the two bags. Not a single image of the two Slingshots side by side illustrating how much bigger is the 200 compared to the 100.

 

Décalage Horaire

Me voilà fraichement débarqué en France, à Nice, après 3 avions, quelques difficultés techniques, et juste un jour de retard. C’est ça les voyages :)

Le bouquet c’est le décalage horaire et la petite insomnie de la première nuit… bon, rien de grave. Je suis bien heureux d’être de retour sur mes terres d’origine, de revoir mes parents, et vous aussi – mes amis – très bientôt. Le rendez-vous fixé pour se revoir “une dernière fois” avant mon retour au pays de la Samba c’est le 29 Juin, c’est un dimanche, réservez-le si vous pouvez. J’aurais des tas de photos à vous montrer et des récits de voyage à partager. Je serais vraiment heureux de vous revoir.
